Course Objectives

  • Describe the purpose and major content of all roles, the seven principles, the seven themes and the seven processes in PRINCE2™.
  • State which management products are input to, and output from the seven processes.
  • State the main purpose, and key contents, of the major management products.
  • State the relationships between processes, deliverables, roles and the management dimensions of a project.
     

DESCRIPTION

This 3-day intensive course prepares candidates for the PRINCE2™ Foundation exam and administers the 75 question, 1-hour exam at the end.

Purpose of the PRINCE2™ Foundation qualification

  • The purpose of the Foundation qualification is to confirm that a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2™ method to be able to work effectively with, or as a member of, a project management team working within an environment supporting PRINCE2™.
  • The Foundation qualification is also a prerequisite for the Practitioner qualification.

Course Format

This workshop provides an intensive walk-through of the PRINCE2™ method and focuses on knowledge and  comprehension of the subject matter.Each topic is rounded off with around 5 trial questions.  As this is a certification course, the theory part comprises about 80% of the course duration.

Pre-Requisites

None, but some exposure to a project environment could be an advantage.
