All project personnel, from team members to new managers involved in projects, and are interested in learning about professional project management. The learning of this simplified methodology is the hands-on/practical approach to project management that could be used on the job immediately.
Course Objectives
- To gain an understanding of the SUKAD™ model
- To understand the project life span including all stages and gates
- To apply the concepts on a workplace project
- To work in a team and take the lead for tasks when appropriate
- To understand how to customize the methodology to a specific industry or organization
- To understand how to adapt the methodology within an organization for different project classifications
DESCRIPTION
Projects of all size, type and complexity require a Customizable and Adaptable Methodology for Managing Projects (CAM2P™) to ensure their success; this is the SUKAD™ Model. SUKAD™ had developed this model to reflect a holistic view of projects. The model emphasis that project management must follow a disciplined approach (stage gates) while maintaining the necessary flexibility that is necessary since not all projects are the same; one-size does NOT fit all!
This course provides a comprehensive coverage of a project from idea to closure and to enhance the learning we emphasis and require the involvement of the participants in interactive activities based on dialogues, discussions and project exercises. Each team in the workshop will follow the same project, where possible. We would prefer that the projects will be from the participants own work or at least environment.
