Limited Engagement Project Management Services
We classify this section as "limited engagement" because the project management services that we offer under this classification should have a well defined and limited scope, which we can accomplish in a short time; a few days.
Facilitation
Organizations might at times have some challenges that requires external but limited support and maybe all they need is some facilitation support. The service can be limited to facilitating a workshop or events of a strategic nature, where success of such events would be compromised by internal facilitation.
Project Audit
SUKAD performs project audit against either the client’s methodology or international best practice, or both. We can help clients identifies the areas for improvement, which we identify from the audits and recommend the necessary corrective actions, where necessary. A Project Audit is typically limited in scope to one project and unless we are dealing with a mega and/or complex project, this would be a short assignment.
Organizational Project Management Maturity Assessment
If an organization need to go beyond auditing a single project, an alternative is to audit (assess) the project management system within the organization, this includes the project management methodology, processes, governance, and all other project management functions. SUKAD leads the project management maturity assessment per the SUKAD propietary model, The Seven Elements of Project Management Maturity, or in line with global standards, such as PMI OPM3 Model or the UK P3M3 Model. If the organization is new to project management and has not established the proper system yet, it might be a waste of resources to perform an assessment and we would not advise conducting an assessment until a new system has been implemented and has been operating for at least a year.
PMO Assessment
SUKAD can perform an assessment of the PMO (Project or Program Management Office), if the organization has one established. Such an assessment will identify the organizational context and the purpose of the PMO, then assess how the PMO is performing in comparison to the purpose and organizational needs, expectations, and requirements. We can also assess whether the organization can benefit from an expanded PMO role or if there is a need for more than one PMO.
