Explanation of SUKAD Vision
For Project Management to Touch on People in All Aspects of Life
The idea behind the SUKAD vision statement is that project management is one of the few domains that can touch every single person on both personal and professional aspects. Project management thinking applies for all organizations – small and large – public and private – and in all business sectors and industries. Project management is applicable at all levels within an organization.
Then what does this mean to SUKAD and what is SUKAD role?
The vision statement does not say for SUKAD to touch on people in all aspects of life. The “thing” that is touching people is project management. In other words, our focus is on the importance of project management as organizations’ enablers. Then it is only humble to recognize that SUKAD is only one of the many contributors to this vision in the world.
The SUKAD active role is from two sides:
- On one side, it is the business aspects, where SUKAD offers project management training and project management consultancy solutions.
- The other side is the community, social, and professional aspects. On this side, SUKAD is a community leader and have numerous social and professional initiatives.
The challenge is for people to accept that project management is not limited to project management certification and not everyone needs to become an expert in project management, a PMP, or PRINCE2 certificate holder. If we can get the people we interact with accept this scenario, and then what is important is to use the higher aspects of project management thinking.
