These services can guide companies in performing training needs analyses and formulating other performance enhancement strategies that are project related, and includes:
PM competency framework development: SUKAD™ Consulting Services (SCS) assists in, or leads the compilation of a PM competency framework based on a client organization’s performance requirements. This service includes benchmarking against global standards and identifying gaps and overlaps in competency requirements. The result is often summarized as a training needs analysis for a team or department.
Alignment of roles with competencies: SCS assists in or leads the compilation of roles and their responsibilities, as well as identifying of matching competencies. This service also includes the mapping of existing competencies within the framework, and performing gap analyses.
Competence assessment: SCS performs a competence assessment based on the client organization’s competency framework. This study results in a competence gap analysis, which is then used as a basis for the creation of an employee’s personal development plan. Note: This is different from performance appraisal.
Development of coaching, mentoring and competence assessment skills: During the last twenty years or so, organizational theory has more and more emphasized the performance of people as the main criterion for successful organizations. Motivation of workforce is a crucial component of this. Mentoring and coaching skills need to be instilled and developed. SCS estimates this is best done as one-on-one consulting, sometimes combined with classroom training.
