The Master Certificate consists of 4 essential parts (3 workshops and 1 group-study/guided learning project) and it is equivalent to 15 days or 120 educational hours, or 15 ECTS; excluding the group-study outside of the classroom.  The key differentiating factors for this programme are:

How do the Postgraduate Credentials work?

The SUKAD™ & School of Knowledge Economy and Management (SKEMA) Business School. Postgraduate Programmes allow our community members to take highly professional courses and workshops that would lead to earning globally recognized professional credentials, the Master Certificates and Advanced Master Certificates. These certificates are post bachelor and could be use as stepping stones toward higher education.

To acquire the Master Certificate, a participant must complete three classroom-based workshops (13 days), carry out group-study activities/assignments to apply the learning via an Applied Learning Project, and participate in at least three 2-hours Advisory/Review Sessions led by SUKAD™ Faculty. The group-study and advisory sessions are equivalent to 2-days workshop and completion is validated via the submittal of a Final Project Report.

The Master Certificate consists of four parts

1. Part 1: 4-days workshop on Launching the Project (from Idea to PM Plan)

2. Part 2: 4-days workshop on Defining the Project (Creating the Project Definition Package)

3. Part 3: 5-days workshop on Delivering the Project (from execution until final close out)

4. Part 4: Applied Learning through a Project: Equivalent to 2-days credit … this is the heart of the program and touches on all other parts

Group 1 will be off- normal business hours (18:00 - 22:00; 1 evening per week). Location, Dubai  U.A.E

Group 2 will be during normal business hours (08:00 - 17:00) - Location, Abu Dhabi U.A.E

 

 

Group 3 will be on weekends and due to this format the 4 parts of the programme are spread into 8 modules (2days per week for each module; 5 weeks break between modules). The schedule will be from March to November 2010. Location, Beirut Lebanon

Group 4 will also be on the weekends (same format as group 3). The modules schedule will be from March to November 2010. Location, Bahrain

 

Special Note 1                            
The Team Advisory Session is NOT a class – it is a 2-hours session that would be conducted face-to-face or via phone/video conference and that would allow each team to meet with their advisor to discuss the assignments. This is formal required session with specific objectives. The actual date for these sessions will be discussed in the Part 1 Class.

Special Note 2
The participants will work on real projects as a part of a team throughout the certificate programme. Further, all participants will be assigned SUKAD™ Advisors to Coach, Support, and Assess them throughout the programme; until the submittal of the final report to a "Jury Review". The completion of the interim assignments and final report are required to earn the Master Certificate credential.

Cost of the Programme

The programmes would be of a great value and significantly cheaper than comparable international programmes. A participant paying for the whole programme can obtain the Master Certificate for $9,400 (this is a special programme launch price – normal fee is $11,100). This includes close to 120 hours of classroom time, books, handouts, manuals, and best of all, the ongoing advisory support and coaching by our U.A.E. Resident Team; face to face and through other mediums. 

Discounts & Installment Plan

• Special discount for registering more than 1 participant together = 5% for 2 participants & 10% for 3 participants.
• Additional discount offered for upfront payment of full fees = 5% per participant.
• Payment plan: pay $ 1,400 deposit upon registration to guarantee a seat; payment of the balance amount will spread over a 10 months period once the programme starts.
