SUKAD™ FZ-LLC is actually the second generation of a company that operated in Houston, Texas, United States of America, between 1998 and 2000. The first company (in the United States) provided project control services to a joint venture that was involved in a megaproject, building a petrochemical plant in Texas. The company founder and leader was Mr. Mounir Ahmad Ajam.

The Lebanese native moved back to the Middle East at the end of 2000, and his thoughts were always on restarting the company to provide the same services in the Arab world. Early in 2004, the decision was made to proceed with the new company, SUKAD™, and the focus shifted to providing education and training services. This has been the initial focus, but our aim is to build toward becoming a project management total solutions provider.

A few friends wanted to join in this new venture, and the group reached a partnership agreement to launch SUKAD™ in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. That led to SUKAD™’s registration at the Dubai Knowledge Village on August 11, 2004.

Between August 2004 and December 2005, SUKAD™’s services were limited to providing in-house services to private clients. In the summer of 2005, Mr. Mounir Ajam moved to Dubai as the company’s chief executive officer and launched the public training program in late 2005
