The Dubai SME 100

The Dubai SME 100 is a premier ranking of Dubai's 100 top performing SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises), launched by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development (Dubai SME). The Dubai SME is an agency of the Dubai Government, Department of Economic Development (DED).

The Dubai SME 100 seeks to identify Dubai's top SMEs that are role models the Emirate can be proud of. More than just a ranking, the objective of Dubai SME 100 is to inspire willing and able SMEs that have the potential to be world-class enterprises - to invest in innovation and people - to sustain growth. The ranking will also serve as a tool for helping SMEs identify capability gaps for improvement, and attract attention of investors which is the real value add of the Dubai SME 100.

The year 2011 was the inaugural year for the Dubai SME 100 ranking and SUKAD is proud to be selected as one out of 100 on this first year of this ranking. It is worth noting that according to Dubai DED, there 72,000 SME operating out of Dubai.

Arabia 500 +Turkey

The Arabia 500 +Turkey is another global ranking announced in 2011, the ranking inaugural year. This ranking is an initiative by AllWorld Network. The AllWorld Network Arabia500+Turkey, is a ranking of the fastest growing young companies in the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA), Turkey and Pakistan. The entrepreneurs of the Arabia500, spanning from Morocco to Pakistan are succeeding against the odds, growing at 40 percent yearly in the toughest downturn in 80 years.

“The Arabia500 companies, led by dynamic men and women, represent the leading edge of a new approach to competitiveness,” said AllWorld co-founder Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter.
